As a hunter, this drives me nuts. I don't understand why it is so hard to just follow the rules of hunting. There is a reason these laws and regulations are in place and if you can't understand that as a hunter than maybe you shouldn't be hunting. With out these laws and regulations, we may not have any animals to hunt and then what would we do. I do enjoy hunting very much and I don't need violators ruining that for my family and I.
Remember as a young girl before I could hunt going out with my dad and him teaching me everything I needed to know for what we are hunting for and he would tell me every time we went out. If it was ducking hunting, he would say we can only have 6 ducks per person (in Wisconsin) and then he would go over how many of each kind of duck we can have. I guess my dad and uncles taught me to respect nature and animals.
These four hunters are lucky I'm not the judge. I would have them paying a lot more in fines, they would have jail time and they would never get there hunting license back. If these were one of my children, I would be having a very long talk with them and making sure all the other guns in my house were locked up and that they didn't know where the key was. Violators are one day going to ruin it for the rest of us, that do obey the laws and regulations when it comes to hunting. Hopefully that day won't come during my lifetime or my children's lifetime.
