These three wounded veterans were given the chance to shot an Oryx from a special drawing by the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish for injured military service members. Two of the three went on the hunt back in December and the third one will be going hunting later in January. In the photo below Robert Apodaca is the one that shot this Oryx and he stated that Sportsmen for Fish & Wildlife of New Mexico also mounted the Oryx for him and processed the meat for free.
