Do you know Your Ducks?

Does anyone know what kind of duck this is or where it is from?

If you couldn't figure out what kind of duck it is, well it is a Falcated Teal. The Falcated Teal are from Eastern Asia. They are about the size of the Gadwell and the American Wigeon, but have a heavier-bodied and a larger-headed appearance. Of course pictured above is a male Falcated Teal with the iridescent green and coppery toned head. Isn't it a beautiful bird? The female's are similar to the female wigeon but plainer with a black bill.

I wouldn't mind shooting one of these and getting it mounted for my wall and having the colors come through.
